Planning and Highways Lawyer


An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Planning and Highways Group at Invicta Law. Working in a growing, friendly team with a focus on delivering excellent customer service, the successful candidate will be handling a wide range of planning and highways matters.

The successful candidate will be experienced in key areas of planning and/or highways law, and ideally have experience of working for a local authority.

Although the post is a solicitor post, applications from other legal disciplines and part time or job share applicants will be welcomed.

The company

Invicta Law’s Planning & Highways Group undertakes work for a variety of public sector clients including local authorities and emergency services.

The team covers the full spectrum of planning and highways law and we pride ourselves in providing practical, actionable advice at very competitive rates.

The role

The ideal candidate will be able to develop positive working relationships with varied clients and colleagues, bright and enthusiastic. You will have experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Planning law including advice relating to development management, planning appeals and planning obligations
  • Highways law including highways agreements, stopping up applications, traffic regulation orders and enforcement advice

We are looking for someone with initiative and the ability to prioritise workloads and balance competing demands. You will need to be a team player and have excellent communications skills.
