Trespassers causes serious problems at major development site in Kent

Have you ever suffered inconvenience as a result of trespassers coming on to your land? Do you know what your rights are and what to do if travellers set up an encampment on land belonging to you? At Invicta Law we have years of experience in dealing with unauthorised encampments, quickly and cost effectively.

In a recent example, Invicta Law answered the call of a global development company that had a serious problem with a large and growing encampment on its site at Manston Business Park in Kent.

There were over 50 vehicles on the land and numbers were growing by the day. Children were playing in and around traffic in the business park and with vehicles parked close to a fireworks factory, the situation was becoming very dangerous.

Another concern was the amount of waste that was piling up by the day. The expense of clearing up the waste left behind by trespassers can quickly mount up to tens of thousands of pounds if action is not taken quickly.

Time was of the essence and Invicta Law took immediate action to ensure that the group and their vehicles were peacefully removed in next to no time.

Speaking about the speed with which Invicta Law acted, a representative of the development company said, “Invicta Law dealt with the problem in a matter of days which saved us a considerable amount of money in terms of clean-up costs. Their lawyers were easy to contact both inside and outside of office hours. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.”
