Prior to becoming Chief Executive at Invicta Law, I spent a number of years as an independent strategic adviser and consultant supporting public sector organisations in delivering strategic and transformational change.
I have a background in change management, business development, commercial finance, strategic planning, corporate finance, and consulting gained in the Financial Services, Communications, Retail and Property sectors.
I hold a degree in Economics from University College London, and am an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Also, I am a Member of the Society of Business Economists.
I started my career as a management consultant with Coopers & Lybrand followed by corporate finance and strategy development work at Guinness Brewing and Sainsbury’s. I then worked for BT and subsequently for Zurich Financial Services where I was Head of Strategic Business Development for Personal Insurance in the UK. From 2005 – 2008, I was Strategic Planning Director at ACE Insurance, and then from 2008 – 2012, I was Group Chief Financial Officer at Metropolitan, a large Affordable Housing Group.
