Employee Testimonials

“I will forever be grateful to Invicta Law for giving me the opportunity to undertake my Training Contract with them. The last two years have flown by so much faster than I could have expected, but I have learned and blossomed so much in such a short space of time. I have been fortunate enough to be surrounded by such a fantastic and supportive team of lawyers and support staff. I am looking forward to continuing at Invicta Law and putting all that training to good use as I embark on my new journey as a Newly Qualified Solicitor!”

Employee Case Study

I started my journey into law when I became a property legal secretary in London in 2005. I moved out of London into Kent at the end of 2007 and I joined a private practice as a legal secretary in the Family Department specialising in private child and public child care law in January 2008.  I then started my academic studying with CILEx whilst I was there and continued when I moved to another private practice. In 2012, I started as a legal assistant at Kent Legal Services doing public child care law and community care where I eventually qualified.

In 2012, I started as a legal assistant at Kent Legal Services doing public child care law and community care where I eventually qualified as a Fellow of CILEx/Chartered Legal Executive in 2016.

I transferred over to Invicta Law when it started trading in 2017 as a lawyer in the child protection team until December 2020.  Then I wanted a change in direction and because I had experience in dealing with challenging files, the investigative approach needed in care proceedings and having compliant files in child protection, I went for the role of Risk and Compliance Lawyer.  I have continued in this role to date, which includes being the Money Laundering Reporting Officer for Invicta Law from February 2023 and being involved in the Data Protection Officer Service for Schools that commenced in August 2023.
