Paul is a Chartered Legal Executive with over twenty years’ experience in both the public and private sectors.

He qualified in 2003 and worked as an in-house lawyer for a FTSE 100 company until 2007, when he transitioned to the public sector.

Paul joined Invicta Law in December 2024. As Associate Director, he plays a key role in supporting the delivery of Invicta Law’s strategic business plan. He is also passionate about people and talent development and is committed to supporting and advancing the careers of his colleagues in this role.

Previously, as Head of Practice for a large local authority shared legal service, Paul managed all non-fee-earning elements of the practice, equipping him with a comprehensive skill set. He was instrumental in the growth and transformation of the legal team into a five-borough shared legal service, and in 2017 he earned an LGC award for driving efficiency through technology. He also successfully implemented a talent management strategy that saw numerous legal and business administration apprentices qualify within the organisation.

His interest in public law is driven by the significant impact it has on the daily lives of ordinary people which he believes offers a diverse and fulfilling career path.

Paul is a Chartered Manager and Mental Health First Aider.
