Kefa Reid
Solicitor Apprentice
Kefa is a Solicitor Apprentice undertaking a seat in the Employment, Pensions and Education team.
Her role focuses on gaining practical, hands‑on experience across a wide range of matters. Kefa regularly attends court and tribunal hearings to build a detailed understanding of court and tribunal processes, supports colleagues in meetings with clients and external legal professionals, and reviews documentation to ensure it is legally sound before submission. She also assists with case preparation and day‑to‑day legal work for public sector clients, including local authorities and education providers.
A key part of Kefa’s approach is learning through observation. By working closely with colleagues, barristers and judges, she develops her legal skills by watching how others operate in practice, asking questions and applying that learning to her own work as she progresses through her training.
Kefa studied Law at the University of Kent, graduating in 2023 with a First Class degree. She joined Invicta Law shortly after graduating and began her solicitor apprenticeship in July 2025.
During her studies, Kefa developed a strong interest in areas of law that affect individual rights and liberties. At Invicta Law, she has been able to build on this interest through exposure to Public Law, while continuing to explore a broad range of legal practice areas as part of her development.
Kefa is guided by an approachable and collaborative way of working. She aims to be reliable and efficient, while ensuring clients feel comfortable raising questions and engaging openly. With colleagues, she values teamwork and shared problem solving, recognising that effective collaboration is key to delivering a high-quality service.
