We’re delighted to welcome Lola Idris to Invicta Law as a Solicitor in our Employment, Privacy and Governance team.

Lola advises on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including tribunal litigation, redundancies, TUPE, settlement agreements and HR advisory work. She supports a broad range of clients including schools, academies and multi-academy trusts, corporate and school personnel, and other external organisations, bringing a practical and people-focused approach to every matter she handles.

After qualifying as a solicitor in 2021, Lola began her legal career at EY’s private practice legal team, where she initially joined as a paralegal before securing her training contract. During her time there, she gained valuable experience on secondments with clients such as Citibank and Tesco and also completed an international secondment in Sydney, Australia. In 2024, she moved into the public sector as an in-house employment solicitor before joining Invicta Law in April 2025.

When asked what drew her to employment law, Lola shared: “I’ve always been passionate about people-focused law and enjoy helping clients navigate the challenges they face, whether supporting them through litigation or advising on day-to-day HR queries.”

Outside of work, Lola enjoys public speaking, yoga, exercising, travelling and reading. She also has a YouTube channel, previously worked on a radio station, and speaks Yoruba, her native language.

We’re so pleased to have Lola on board. Her expertise, energy, and care for her clients will be a real asset to our team and those we support. Please join us in giving her a very warm welcome.
