As Director of Compliance at Invicta Law, I ensure that Invicta Law complies with its professional responsibilities and that our work meets and exceeds the very high standards required by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, ISO, LEXCEL and most importantly, our clients. The company specialises in advising public sector organisations on legal matters.

I was appointed a company director of Invicta Law in 2016 and held that directorship until September 2023. I support our board and all our staff on legal, compliance and quality matters having fulfilled many of the key roles in the company including Joint Chief Executive (COLP). With the members of my team, I develop the business from a compliance and quality perspective.

I believe in being a fair, supportive and enabling leader, showing staff at all levels by my example how they can be great and effective lawyers giving them technical and strategic support.

I am a qualified solicitor having worked in private practice for many years. I hold a diploma in Local Government Law and Practice having gained significant experience through leadership in public and private practice. My focus is on supporting my team of lawyers and support staff to really understand our clients needs and business, to have open minds, great communication skills and a sound knowledge of the law.

We are a people business and I enjoy making time for people, whether they are clients or members of staff. I want to inspire all our staff to be the best they can be, to provide outstanding pragmatic legal advice within budget and on time and to create mutually trusting client relationships.
