About Mark Radford
After graduating from the University of Kent, attending the College of Law at Chester, and training in private practice, Mark qualified as a solicitor in 1991 working for Kent County Council until he joined Invicta Law in 2017. Mark has been an adviser to a large fire and rescue authority for twenty years and understands the particular issues that those authorities face.
Mark is a public law specialist and has developed a comprehensive understanding of the challenges that public sector organisations can face through governance issues whether reputational, financial or through litigation.
Mark provides commercial regulatory advice. He advises on complex and sensitive subject access requests, privacy notices, data protection impact assessments, freedom of information requests and review. Mark also advises on member code of conduct and standards.
As well as advising on all aspects of employment and education law, Mark advises extensively on the pension issues relating to TUPE transfers under the LGPS. Mark has significant experience of Admission Agreements, Bonds, Guarantees, Deferred Debt Agreements and Debt Spreading Agreements relating to the admission of new bodies to the Local Government Pension Scheme.
