Solicitor

I was educated at the University of Kent gaining a degree in Law in 2014. I gained my LLM Research Masters relating to the area of adult social care in 2017.

Having worked in the Community Care group since July 2014, I focus on matters connected to adult social care in the Court of Protection and also advise on a range of other community care law issues.

I played a central role in developing and delivering Care Act training in respect of ordinary residence in Spring 2015 to key clients and I also played a key role in the organisation of our annual Adult Social Care Conference.

My wide range of experience includes s21A MCA DOLS challenges, s16 MCA Personal Welfare applications and Re X applications, as well as providing advice on preparing statements and evidence in Court proceedings generally. I provide bespoke advice on more unusual Community Care issues when they arise.

I completed the Legal Practice Course in 2021 and qualified as a solicitor in October 2021.
