Mark Kitchingham
Principal Solicitor
Mark began practicing law as a legal assistant in 1986 and qualified as a solicitor in 2000. He joined Invicta Law in 2015, initially as a Senior Solicitor and was later promoted to Principal Solicitor. Mark manages a team of six lawyers and five legal assistants.
Before specialising in Family Law, Mark undertook general work in private practice on a range of matters including landlord and tenant issues, housing, debt collection, personal injury claims, general consumer/contract law, criminal matters, probate, and residential conveyancing.
Since 1999, Mark has specialised solely in Private and Public Family work, focusing primarily on Child Protection cases since 2005. He has worked on complex cases involving domestic homicide, serious non-accidental injury, fabricated or induced illness, cases with an international element, and deprivation of liberty.
Mark regularly attends court and undertakes advocacy on his own cases and for other members of the team, including short notice Emergency Protection Order hearings.
